Dear wine enthusiasts and wine tourists,
A couple of months ago we told you that DEVINSSI winery reopened its wine shop in the village of Gratallops (DOQ Priorat). The street address is 52, Piró, right at the entrance to the village. During the business hours (Saturday and Sunday, 10.30 a.m. to 2 p.m.) you can taste and buy wines from DEVINSSI.
We’ve also included more products from sister wineries. Why not have some sips of refreshing DIVIÑO, an albariño white from DO Rias Baixas? What is more, the design for DIVIÑO dawned upon Josep Roca (the brand owner) here in Gratallops, and it was developed here, in the Devinssi winery, too. The picture of this feather-light cloud on the label was actually taken from the Siurana cliff while it was floating over Priorat.
Plus, we’ve made over the interior with some new furniture to better display the produce and to taste wines more cosily. In our wine shop, you can find information about grapevine adoption – a novelty we launched this year and that has already become feasible: our first “guardians” have already had their wines delivered, and they’ll get in short their first, or second, customised newsletter. Dear vine guardians, why not visit your adopted plants? The next upcoming chance to take care of them will be during the grape harvest, in mid-to-end of September.
This summer, we’ve been having our hands full with visits to the winery and vineyards. We’ve hosted multiple wine tasters and vineyard visitors, some of them even made the whole wine route of the paths of Gratallops (which features our wine shop).
